Al Pacino's hair is almost as tall as he is in this ridiculously overblown thriller. Dr Jack Gramm (Pacino) is a forensic psychiatrist who once put away a serial killer. Just as the Seattle slayer is about to be fried, a series of copycat murders are uncovered and Pacino - sporting a goatee as well as the dead cat on his head - is given the titular time frame to solve the mystery or die. Director Jon "Fried Green Tomatoes" Avnet aims for flash and dash and comes up with rank hamminess. It's particularly marvellous the way all the women are wearing sexy underwear on the night the serial killer calls to string his victims upside down from the ceiling. An order of fried green tripe to go, please.
