Abermed, the industrial and occupational health group, announced yester- day that it had won multi-million-pound contracts with Shell UK and Transocean to provide medical services to staff. Under the terms of the separate deals, which have a combined value of more than £5m, Abermed will look after all aspects of occupational health and emergency medical cover for more than 3000 workers on and offshore.
