Star rating: **** The 5pm slot may not be the natural habitat for jazz musicians and their audience, and some may find the £14 ticket price for 50 minutes' music a daunting prospect. This, though, is a classy big-band show that packs a lot of value - and actually a bit more time - into its allotted span.
