STEWART Dr John Hirst MB, ChB, MRGCP Passed away peacefully, on 16th September, 2017. John is remembered by his loving wife Evelyn, sister Jean, daughter, sons, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends everywhere. John studied medicine at Glasgow University and practised at Kersland House Surgery in Milngavie. The funeral service, to which all family and friends are warmly invited, will be held at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Melrose, on Monday, 25th September at 12 noon. No flowers please however in lieu donations would be very welcome to help the Margaret Kerr Unit at the Borders General Hospital, Melrose.
