McLEAN DOUGLAS JOHN. At his home in Bishopbriggs, on Thursday, 9th November 2017, Doug, soulmate and beloved husband of Carmel, proud, devoted dad of Ciara and Finn, loving son of John and Pat, twin brother of Lesley. Much loved by all his family and friends including his ex-colleagues in H.M. Revenue and Customs. Doug received excellent care throughout his illness from staff at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, the Beatson Hospital, Glasgow, Springfield Medical Practice, Community Nurses and Marie Curie, for which Carmel and family are eternally grateful. A service to celebrate Doug's life will be held at Glasgow Crematorium, Maryhill (Old Chapel), G23 5AA, on Friday, 17th November at 12.45pm (please note change of time), to which all family and friends are invited. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu if desired, to Marie Curie. Doug has requested no black ties, bright colours welcome.
