ANDERSON Canon William (Bill) (Edinburgh/Aberdeen) On 6th January 2018, at Murrayfield House, Edinburgh, Canon Bill Anderson, formerly student at the Scots' College in Rome, ordained priest for the Archdiocese of Edinburgh in 1960. Following teaching at Blairs College, in 1991 he was 'incardinated' as a priest of the diocese of Aberdeen and was Administrator of the Cathedral from 1993 to 2000, being made a Cathedral Canon in 1996. Funeral Mass on Friday, 19th January at 11.30am at St Peter's R.C. Church, 77 Falcon Avenue, Morningside, Edinburgh EH10 4AN and interment thereafter in Mount Vernon Cemetery at approximately 1.15pm. Reception of Remains on Thursday, 18th January at 5pm. There will also be a Requiem Mass in Aberdeen at St Mary's Cathedral, Huntly Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1SH on Tuesday 30th January at 11.30am.
