FIRTH DAVID. (Glasgow/Peebles). Suddenly but peacefully, at the Borders General Hospital, on 11th January 2018, David, beloved husband of the late Evelyne, father of Alison and loving partner of Sheila. A celebration of David's life will be held at the Borders Crematorium, Melrose, on Thursday 25th January at 3pm, to which all family and friends are welcome. Family flowers only please but donations in aid of RNLI and the Marie Curie Hospice, can be sent to Porteous Funeral Directors, 589 Lanark Road, Juniper Green, Edinburgh, EH14 5DA. No black ties or armbands, please wear bright colours.
