McALONAN William Skilling 29th April 1929 14th April 2018 Former Director of Roads, Strathclyde Region Peacefully, in Ayrshire on Saturday, 14th April, 2018, with his family, in his 89th year, after living with cancer for 20 years. Beloved husband of Laura, loving father to Elsa, Kirsten and David; father-in-law to Murdoch and Kirsty and adored Papa to Oliver and Skye. A Thanksgiving Service for Bill's life will be held on Thursday, 26th April at 11am at Carmunnock Parish Church, to which all friends are invited. Special thanks to the superb care and attention from the staff at the Malin Court Nursing Home, Turnberry. The family are not wearing black and no flowers please. Donations instead to Prostate Cancer UK.
