HM TROOPSHIP Khedive Ismail Remembering the Officers and the British and African Non-Commissioned Officers and Men of 301st Field Regiment, East African Artillery, and Naval Personnel and Civilians on board HM Troopship Khedive Ismail (1297 souls in total) who were lost at sea through enemy action on 12th February 1944. Also remembering LEWIS MITCHELL SMITH (1913-2008), one of the 214 survivors, and his wife of 61 years PEGGY (MARGUERITE KYLE) (1915-2015).
