Clyde Valley Learning and Development Joint Committee Accounts for the period from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018
Notice is hereby given under Regulation 9 (1) of the Local Authority Accounts
(Scotland) Regulations 1985 that copies of the unaudited accounts of Clyde
Valley Learning and Development Joint Committee for the period from 1 April
2017 to 31 March 2018 will be available for inspection on the following dates:
The accounts and related documents are available for public inspection
from Friday 29 June to Friday 20 July 2018 (inclusive) in the offices of the
Council’s Finance and Corporate Resources, Floor 4, Council Offices, Almada
Street, Hamilton ML3 0AB between the hours of 8.45am – 4.45pm Monday
to Thursday and 8.45am – 4.15pm Friday. A copy of the accounts will also be
available at the following website: www.southlanarkshire.gov.uk.
Any person interested may inspect a copy of the abstract(s) of the accounts
to be audited, all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts related
thereto, and may take copies of any or all parts of the accounts. Any person
interested may object to the account or to any part of those accounts, no later
than Monday 23 July 2018 by sending their objection in writing, together with
a statement of the grounds thereof, to the auditor, Dave Richardson, Senior
Audit Manager, Audit Scotland, Floor 4 – South Suite, The Athenaeum Building,
8 Nelson Mandela Place Street, Glasgow G2 1BT and sending a copy of their
objection and the grounds thereof to the Controller of Audit, Audit Scotland,
4th Floor, West Port, Edinburgh, EH3 9DN and to the Council and any officer
of the Council who may be concerned, at Council Offices, Almada Street,
Hamilton ML3 0AB.
The auditor shall, if requested by the person objecting, the authority, or by
any officer of the authority who may be concerned, afford to that person or
authority or officer, as the case may be, an opportunity of appearing before
and being heard by the auditor with respect to that objection; and any such
person or officer may so appear and be heard either personally or by a
representative.
