Leftfield, incredibly effective revenge thriller features an unlikely hero, whose plan to avenge his murdered parents pits him against a whole family of redneck killers. Psychologically fascinating, taut, tense and impossible to call.
Ilo Ilo (12A)
Beautifully observed Singaporean film about the relationship between a couple, their misbehaving son and the Filipino maid they enlist to take care of him.
