You can't go far wrong with a post-apocalyptic setting and, happily, director Brad Anderson doesn't. When Detroit suffers a power cut, film projectionist Paul (John Leguizamo) finds that everyone has disappeared. Well, almost: Thandie Newton and Hayden Christensen are still around, and together they try to unravel what's been happening. A clever mixture of allegory, mystery thriller and horror of the less-is-more variety.
