HHHH

Dir: Magnus Martens

With: Kyrre Hellum, Henrik Mestad

Running time: 90 minutes

NORDIC noir continues its unstoppable quest for your cinema buck and TV viewing time with Magnus Martens' rollicking adaptation of a Jo Nesbo story, here receiving its UK premiere. The story is delectably simple: three ex-offenders and their probation officer enter a lottery and win big. With so much at stake among so many untrustworthy types, what could possibly go wrong? With the bleakest of humour, the most stomach churning of special effects and no holds barred violence, Martens wends his wickedly entertaining way to the finish. It's more brutal than Headhunters and not as slick, but a good time will be had by all fans of Nesbo and Scandinavian mayhem.
