Actress Olivia Colman says she would have liked to have been asked to be in the US remake of her hit whodunnit drama Broadchurch.
Although she said she was "busy doing other things", she said she would have liked to at least been invited to appear in the series, alongside her original co-star David Tennant.
Colman told BBC1's Graham Norton Show, in an interview to be screened tonight: "I'm not in it but I'm busy doing other things.
"I would quite like to have had the option to say 'no'."
The star, who turns 40 later this month, has already confirmed she will be appearing in the second series of the UK version to be screeend by ITV.
She was a double winner at the TV Baftas last year for her performances in comedy Twenty Twelve and drama The Accused, but said she found the ceremony a little too "overwhelming" and she longed to get home to relax.
"It was very exciting but a bit overwhelming and a bit much. So after dinner I said to my husband, 'I want to go home, put my socks on and have a cup of tea'. And we snuck off."
Other guests on tonight's show with presenter Norton, screened at 10.35pm, include Idris Elba, US star Lena Dunham and chart stars Keane.
