The Code (15)

Despite screening to decent audience figures on BBC Four last month, this superior Australian political thriller could be better known. It'll certainly appeal to fans of House Of Cards and Scandinavian imports like Borgen, The Bridge and Mammon. It throws together a campaigning journalist, his hacker brother, his hacker brother's iffy (but jaw-droppingly beautiful) girlfriend, a cop and a handful of those political functionaries which are a staple of this sort of thing. Add great credits and scenery - the action switches between Canberra and the red dust New South Wales outback - and you have a more than decent watch.

The Whip And The Body (15)

Kino Classic bring this S&M-flavoured 1963 Gothic chiller to Blu-ray. Directed by Mario Bava, the godfather of Italian horror, it stars Christopher Lee as a bad man who likes to whip his sister-in-law.

The Fault In Our Stars (12)

Josh Boone's adaptation of John Green's novel about a bittersweet romance between teenage cancer sufferers stars Shailene Woodley (The Descendants) and Ansel Elgort.
