The Adventures Of Antoine Doinel (15)

Artificial Eye are also releasing a major Francois Truffaut boxset on Blu-ray this week. But if you want to sample just a slice of the French New Wave director's oeuvre, try this cheaper supplementary collection of works centring on the character of Antoine, played in each of the five films here by Jean-Pierre Leaud. Finding Fela (E)

Documentary by Alex Gibney, the man who made The Armstrong Lie, about the great Nigerian Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti. For the music and the archive footage alone, it's worth a look.

The latest from Waltz With Bashir director Ari Folman, in which Robin Wright plays an actress whose studio creates a digitised avatar version of her and then buys the right to use it any way they see fit. An intriguing vision of the future of celebrity.
