Her first, a year earlier, had been in the company of an all-girl group called The Dirty Pinks and she’d ended up headlining the festival. Sort of.
This year, the 26-year-old was there with her own band, Molotov Jukebox. “The night before, we had a gig in a field near Guildford, south of London,” she says, curled up in a chair in an Edinburgh hotel room. “We finished the gig at midnight then had to drive all the way up to T in the Park overnight.”
