Brand new, you’re retro

Serendipitously, the debut album by Marina Diamandis has appeared at the same time as a new novel by Martin Amis, in which the writer often notes that the sexual revolution meant that girls started behaving like boys.

“I look like a girl, but I think like a boy,” sings Miss Diamandis on Girls, delving into very similar territory of erotic adventurousness explored by Amis.
