l Oh Susanna returns to Glasgow after a five-year gap when she appears at Glasgow Art Club on November 29. The Massachusetts-born, Vancouver-raised singer-songwriter hasn't been idle, having given birth to her first son and released an album, Soon The Birds, on which she worked with Beach Boys collaborator Van Dyke Parks. The singer, whose name is Suzie Ungerleider but who took Stephen Foster's minstrel song as her stage name during an early theatrical phase, has begun recording her next release, provisionally entitled Namedropper.
