l The Dunedin Consort is taking its acclaimed and prize-winning approach to Handel's Messiah on the road this year, with four performances of the oratorio during December.

Alto Alexandra Gibson and tenor Nicholas Mulroy are soloists in all performances, joined by bass Robert Davies and soprano Ruby Hughes at Edinburgh Queen's Hall, Perth Concert Hall and Glenrothes Rothes Hall from December 19 to 21. The Glasgow performance, of the original 1742 Dublin score, at Kelvingrove on December 8 has bass Matthew Brook and soprano Julia Doyle.
