New airline playlist ready for take-off

CELTIC Connections hit act The Gloaming and top African attractions Salif Keita, above, Angélique Kidjo, and Femi Kuti will be on British Airways' in-flight playlist when a new content partnership between the airline and Songlines magazine takes effect on March 1. Tracks chosen by Sir Mick Jagger and Rufus Wainwright are among the first to feature as British Airways taps into the magazine's expertise with the aim of improving customers' travel experience. Scottish traditional musicians, whose work is regularly reviewed in Songlines, could feature in future playlists as a result.
