Collective set to improvise on their blind date

PATHHEAD Music Collective stages a musical blind date on Friday September 12, when the Midlothian village welcomes Japanese improvisers Natsuki Tamura (trumpet) and Satoko Fujii (piano). Martin Green, accordionist with award-winning folk trio Lau who lives locally, will duet with Tamura, followed by drummer Tom Bancroft's latest project, Vincent, which features Fujii and Una McGlone (double bassist with Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra). The concert is part of Midlothian Council's Midfest programme and Vincent will also play gigs in Edinburgh's Jazz Bar on September 10 and Glasgow Arts Club on September 11.
