The Highland promoters are carrying on the work done for many years by Ken Ramage, who founded and ran Nairn Jazz Festival as well as promoting top-flight jazz attractions in the town throughout the year.

Mathieson's, pictured, CJO play jazz from Jelly Roll Morton and the music's origins through to Charles Mingus and Gil Evans.
