Guitarist kicks off an Affair of the musical art

ACOUSTIC AFFAIR present a wide variety of music in Glasgow over the coming weeks, starting with gypsy jazz guitarist Lulo Reinhardt's Latin Swing Project at St Andrew's in the Square tonight.

Veteran singer-songwriter Rab Noakes partners Gaelic singer Kathleen MacInnes in a programme of Scots, Gaelic and English love songs and murder ballads in the same venue on Friday October 24.

Bridie Jackson and the Arbour's idiosyncratic contemporary folk songs follow on Wednesday October 29 in the Old Hairdressers, and Celtic-folk-blues singer Calum Ingram, Nashville-based Mancunian singer-songwriter Clive Gregson, saxophonist Deke McGee's band, and blues singer Stevie Nimmo are all confirmed to appear soon.
