Bootylicious: Beyonce bolsters Charles's charity during UK tour

Superstar Beyonce is teaming up with the Prince of Wales to raise money for his youth charity during her UK tour dates, including a show at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow next week.

The singer has launched her own global campaign #BeyGood encouraging people to be kind to their community and will partner with the Prince's Trust by encouraging her concert crowds to make £3 donations.

Fans will have a chance to have their seats upgraded during her Mrs Carter Show dates if they show their support for the charity work.

Beyonce said: "As a young child I was blessed to have the support of my family who encouraged me to reach for my goals.

"So many young people don't have this. I am honored to partner the #BeyGood campaign with The Prince's Trust to help young people beat the odds and create better lives for themselves."

She is already an ambassador for the charity which helps disadvantaged young people in the UK to find work.

Martina Milburn, chief executive of The Prince's Trust, said: "Beyonce understands that, every day in the UK, young people are facing not only unemployment but also the devastating effects of homelessness, addiction, poverty, bullying and poor mental health.

"All of these hardships can leave them feeling that life isn't worth living. It is up to us to help them get their lives back on track and the funds raised through the #BeyGood campaign will help us to do that."
