Bach or Handel, sure; it's been a good 40 years since the early music movement launched its crusade for "historically informed performance" – the use of instruments and techniques as close as possible to those used in the baroque period. These days the sound of gut strings and pointy bows and stripped-down, vibrato-less textures isn't the shock novelty it was in the 1970s.
