Chris Wallace, the Canadian drummer who lived in and worked out of Edinburgh for fifteen years before returning to Toronto in 2014, has released an album featuring four of the musicians he played with on the Scottish scene.

Titled Identity, the album takes its inspiration from events in Wallace's life during his stay in Scotland as he became an energetic presence and formed bands including the award-winning experimental trio NeWt and Breach, with guitarist Graeme Stephen and keyboardist Paul Harrison. Both Stephen and Harrison feature on Identity, as do saxophonist Martin Kershaw and bassist Mario Caribe. chriswallacedrums.com
