His complaint was of the lack of interest in "Scottish culture" displayed by the director of the Edinburgh International Festival Jonathan Mills, and in particular about the concerts of "English choral works" that opened and closed the Usher Hall programme this year. The distinctly anti-English tone of the letter made the suggestion of our print editions' headline that Mills is less than entirely Australian explicable, if no less wrong.
