A previous festival guest as a solo singer-guitarist, Jason Ringenberg has branched out as a children's entertainer, Farmer Jason, in the years since the Scorchers temporarily hung up their collective Stetson.
Ringenberg's amiable presence here, coming on like a flamboyantly dressed Dodge City dignitary, added to the feeling of the reunited band being the ultimate cowpoke pantomime, complete with Warner the revolving guitarist.
