Caught in a meeting place between indie rock and synth pop, they're perhaps too unconventionally interesting to make it easy for downloaders to love them unconditionally. That said, I reckon this second album is a better self- contained collection of songs than anything released to date by MGMT or Empire Of The Sun, who might make for fair comparisons.

Miike Snow, Happy To You (Columbia)
Given that two-thirds of Miike Snow (Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnber, aka producers Bloodshy & Avant) were behind Britney Spears's Toxic, you'd expect these Swedish-American electro-popsters to be a bigger chart presence in their own right.
