Noel Gallagher has paid tribute to his Glasgow fans in his latest online blog Tales From The Middle Of Nowhere Vol 3: The Good, The Bad And The Bubbly.
The rock star said his show at the SSE Hydro on Saturday was up there with the High Flying Birds Manchester date on Monday.
He said: "Manchester you were the b*****ks. I couldn't split the gigs between you and Glasgow and that's the highest compliment I can pay any set of fans.
"Very special...if Carlsberg did Monday's and all that!"

The outspoken songwriter, however, did not feel the same way about his London show, adding: "Which brings me to Tuesday...London. The 02...on a Tuesday...in London. It was probably great...it usually is.
"But coming after Glasgow/Manchester I'm afraid a Tuesday night in London isn't gonna cut it somehow. "There's not much more to say about it really. HIT THE NORTH!!!!!"
Noel put on a five star show at the sold-out gig at the SSE Hydro after meeting fans in the city's HMV store where he signed copies of his new album Chasing Yesterday, which topped the UK album charts.
In his blog, he said: "I'd agreed to do an in-store record signing thing at HMV in Glasgow...There were people there of all shapes and sizes and...even a few girls...real ones. I did feel a bit like Father Christmas at a grotto somewhere in the 70s.
"There were some tears..not mine I might add..."
He added: "The Hydro is, so my Scottish aftershave drinking pals tell me, a world class venue! I'll let you know in about 2 years, when this tour finishes, if that is indeed true. I'll tell you what is world class though...TRULY world class...is that f*****g crowd."
The musician also signed a guitar to help raise money for the Clutha Trust during his visit to the city.
