Two of the young performers in 2013's mammoth tour of Pirates of Penzance are out on the road for Scottish Opera again early this year, as part of the regular Opera Highlights package that visits some of Scotland's most remote communities.

Sioned Gwen Davies and Sam Furness are joined by Welsh soprano Reisha Adams and Irish baritone Ben McAteer at the start of the tour, with Welsh tenor Joshua Owen Mills taking over from Furness as the quartet travels from Durness Village Hall to Loch Torridon Comunity Centre. Other dates include Campbeltown's Victoria Hall on Tuesday February 3, the Astley Hall in Arisaig on Valentine's Day and the Universal Hall, Findhorn, on February 24. The accompanist and musical director is Ina Selvelieva and the director Max Webster and the show premieres at Rutherglen Town Hall on January 29 and closes at the Regal, Bathgate on March 7.
