Music Theatre Wales has laid claim to one distinct stream of it, to the extent that the company has commissioned his next chamber opera to mark its 25th anniversary. Look out for the Glass version of seminal Franz Kafka short story The Trial in 2013. It follows this piece, the MTW revival of which toured to Edinburgh's Traverse, and of which this is the first ever recording, on Glass's own label.
