PERHAPS the best way to think of what happened at the Lammermuir Festival on Monday night was as a more accessible, and more musical, tilt at the sort of event we have come to expect from Angus Farquhar's arts organisation, NVA.
It was specifically concerned with the environment and the sometimes violent but agrarian nature of the place, and it involved an exciting journey, by vehicle then on foot, to the experience – but one that older and disabled people could join in, although sensible ticket pricing ensured there were a great many young people as well.
