The Walkmen do not go in for onstage extravagance.
Their set-up was frugal, with not even a banner on show, while the only colour was the moustache sported by guitarist Paul Maroon. Stripped of any distractions or gimmicks, the resulting 90 minutes were an excellent display of no-frills rock'n'roll.
