This year's Traquair Fair will happen on the first weekend of August and have an American theme.
A bi-ennial event since 2011, the 1960s theme of the 2013 event will be followed by displays of American cars and motorcycles, and screenings of classic Stateside movies in the house. Music will encompass country and bluegrass stylings with jiving and line-dancing encouraged. Teepees with appropriate comestibles will be pitched in the garden and there will be Wild West entertainment for the youngsters and vintage clothing stalls for the hipsters. August 1 & 2 from 11am to 6pm, with the music continuing until 8pm. Don't be a stranger now.
