Scottish crooner Paolo Nutini gave pop legend Prince a run for his money with an impromptu performance of Purple Rain in a Glasgow bar.

The singer then jumped across to The Box in Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street where he joined band The Kicks on stage for a performance of The Prince classic Purple Rain.
