HOW TO ENTER

- On that page, click the 'send a message' envelope icon
- In your message please include one track along with your band name, contact details and around 100 words about the band.
Enter one song only and only one entry per band will be accepted. The song must be original, no cover versions allowed.
The deadline for entries is Sunday 10th May 23:59pm. Our panel of judges will then select 8 bands to go forward for public vote and the lucky 8 will be announced on Sunday 17th May. From then the 2 bands with the highest number of public votes will go through to the final which will include 2 bands from the judging panel. The top 4 bands will be invited to play at The Wicker Warm Up, which will be held at Nice & Sleazys on June 25th. The winning band will be offered a place on the Wickerman Festival bill on 25th July 2015. Please note…all bands who enter must be available to play at the festival and at The Wicker Warm Up gig.
Please note this competition is for 18 and over and entrants must be a Scottish orientated band/group.
THE PRIZE
The winning band will be offered a place on the main stage at the Wickerman Festival on 25th July 2015. The festival has become one of the highlights of the Scottish music calendar since it begun 14 years ago. Held at a beautiful site near Dundrennan in Dumfries and Galloway, the festival has extablished a strong reputation for presenting the best of alternative rock acts. This year's festival will be staged on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July, 2015.
