Hamlet, Tolbooth, Stirling

Like all good gangster films, Hamlet begins with a funeral, and has a predictably high body-count.

Whether this is enough to justify a full-on Sopranos-style update, as director Michael Emans has done here with his ambitious Glasgow-set production for Rapture Theatre Company, is debatable.
