Scottish Ballet gets the new year off to a sound first footing
The ‘ring out the old, ring in the new’ mindset that first-foots the arrival of a new year could aptly apply to Scottish Ballet as the company prepares to spend January on tour with its spectacularly distinctive version of The Nutcracker – it opens tonight at Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre, before heading to Inverness and Aberdeen.
