Until October 9

From trying to teach parrots to sing protest songs (Psittaciformes Trying To Change The World, 2005/6) to replacing 10 public clocks in a town with timepieces telling French Revolutionary Time (Folkestone Triennial, 2011), Ruth Ewan’s art is grounded in other people’s convictions. She featured in New York’s New Museum survey show Younger Than Jesus and Altermodern: Tate Triennial, both in 2009, but Brank and Heckle is her first major solo exhibition in the UK, and includes both ongoing projects and new commissions.
