n EDINBURGH'S Stand Comedy Club has unveiled its 2012 Fringe programme.

Performers include Fred MacAulay, John Scott, Scott Agnew Stephen K. Amos, Phill Jupitus, Lucy Porter and Jo Caulfield. There will also be performances of the Bay City Rollers comedy musical And They Played Shang-a-Lang. Tickets go on sale at 1pm today.

n JANICE Parker's Private Dancer promenade piece, commissioned by the Unlimited Cultural Olympiad programme, will be staged at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) in Glasgow this month.

n INGLEBY Gallery and EIFF will present a silent black and white film by artist David Austen, set in the interior of The Burns Monument, on June 21 - 24. Working across media with painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and film, Austen explores the tragic-comic potential of the human condition.
