Kevin Bridges to host charity gala concert
Tickets for a charity gala concert hosted by comedian Kevin Bridges go on sale today at 10am. All profits from the Kevin Bridges And Friends show, which takes place at Edinburgh's Festival Theatre on Monday November 24, will go to the Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Research, based at the University of Edinburgh.
The full line-up has yet to be announced, but online bookings are open today from 10am at edtheatres.com/festival or phone bookings from 11am on 0131 529 6000. Tickets are limited to four per person.

South Indian violinist Jyostna Srikanth returns to Scotland for a concert with her Bangalore Dreams Indo-jazz fusion group at the Jazz Bar, in Edinburgh on Thursday November 20 as part of her UK tour. The most sought after Indian violinist in Europe, Srikanth trained in both the voice-based Carnatic music tradition and Western classical violin, and has played on some 200 Bollywood film soundtracks as well as appearing at the BBC Proms, WOMAD and the Chennai Music Academy.
