Billy Connolly announces Scottish shows

Billy Connolly has announced that he will bring his High Horse tour to Scotland later this year.

The comedian will kick off his tour in Aberdeen on Monday, September 29 and Tuesday, September 30 and will play Perth (October 1), five nights in Edinburgh (October 4-7) and Dundee (October 11) before ebarking on a seven show stint at Glasgow's SECC. The Glasgow show dates are October 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 26 and 27.

Connolly, who was given the all-clear from prostate cancer last year, has been hailed as the UK's most influential comedian of all time.
