Lloyd Griffith talks to HeraldScotland about having the voice of an angel and the body of a trucker.

Tell us about your Fringe show

Voice of an Angel, Body of a Trucker; My show is the story of me being the only choirboy and comedian in the country.

How does it feel to be playing the Fringe for the first time?

I am beyond excited. I have been wanting to do this show since I came up last year and can't wait for the first night.

Best live act seen at Fringe?

Terry Alderton. The man is a genius. No two shows are the same and you never know what you are in for. The most original comedian I have ever seen.

Best thing about the Fringe?

I am a comedy fan and so try and see as many shows as possible as well as doing mine. Last year I saw 34 shows as well as doing 3 shows a day myself

Worst thing about the Fringe?

You never know what to wear and end up leaving the house with a rain coat with shorts and an umbrella whilst smothering your face with sunscreen.

If you were not a performer/comedian what would you be doing?

Probably be a full time choirboy singing in a Cathedral somewhere.

What do your family think of your show?

They love it. They're a large part of it.

How do you combat pre-gig nerves?

I listen to Thomas Tallis' Spem in Alium. Quality bit of renaissance polyphony to get you going.

Worst on stage experience?

Stratford Theatre. Second ever gig. Cried on the tube home. Even thinking about it now makes me a little sick.

How do you recover from a hefty heckle? Do you have a set of stock replies?

I just sing at them. Show them I don't care. I have some stock replies but I don't get heckled that often, thankfully.

What do you love about Scotland?

People. They're bloody brilliant. So warm and welcoming. Please come to my show.

What do you like about Edinburgh?

The Scottish people that live in Edinburgh. Please come to my show.

What's the most Scottish thing you've done?

Kissed a Scottish girl once. If she's reading this, please come to my show.

Who's your favourite Scottish comedian?

Big fan of Kevin Bridges, Daniel Sloss and Mark Nelson. Very funny fellas. If they're reading this, please come to my show

Favourite joke?

Lee Mack: I remember the last thing my nan said to me before she died. 'What are you doing here with that hammer?'
