Short & Curly talk to HeraldScotland about stag dos, Irn Bru for breakfast and filthy jokes.

Tell us about your Fringe show

Short & Curly have recruited a new member Andy (Short Andy Curly). We join them at their post show party only to discover Andy is dead. We watch them relive their high energy sketches with Andy (a mannequin) to work out who dunnit?

Best thing about the Fringe?

Being surrounded by so much talent and inspiration.

Worst thing about the Fringe?

Malnutrition, and Saturday night stag dos

How many years have you been coming to the Fringe?

8 years of graft!

Favourite Fringe venue?

The Bedlam Theatre is a great little space.

Best Fringe memory?

We did the first ever joke thieves for sketch groups in 2013. It was such a fun night, no one had any idea how it was going to play out, but it was a huge success.

Best heckle?

We don't really get hecklers because our show is highly interactive, they would only be drawing attention to themselves to be picked next!

Craziest on stage experience?

Once we started a show by pretending to take the audience hostage with plastic blue guns. One woman instantly ran through the door to the kitchen, leaving her jacket, bag and 10 year old child behind. She came back at the end and explained she'd been taken hostage before... Awkward!

What's on your rider?

Pink lemonade lucozade.

How do you wind down after a show?

Eating lunch in Ciao Roma, the restaurant above our venue, their pizzas rock!

What do you love about Scotland?

The setting to the festival is amazing. The landscape and the architecture is gorgeous here.

What do you like about Edinburgh?

Same as before.

What's the most Scottish thing you've done?

Had a tattie dog and an Irn Bru for breakfast

What kind of jokes do a Scottish crowd seem to respond to?

Filth

Favourite joke?

Two monkeys are in the bath. One goes "ooh ooh ahh ahh".

The other one says "well put some cold in"

It's not our joke, we just really like it.
