l A Small Prometheus brings together light, sound and heat to evoke moments when a spark - physically or metaphorically - triggers creativity and movement, not just in dancers but in kinetic sculptures. Stephanie Lake's piece acknowledges the Promethean myth, but translates it into a choreography about the power fire exercises over our own imagination. (June 20 & 21)

l Gudirr Gudirr, a memorable and affecting solo by Dalisa Pigram, evokes years of disintegration of indigenous culture in most of Australia. The sound of a coastal bird from Pigram's home country, the Kimberley, gives her work its name while martial arts, animal imagery, gymnastics, the nightclub and the circus all feed into a performance that Pigram made in collaboration with Koen Augustijnen, formerly with celebrated Belgian company Les Ballets C de la B.
