Throw a title like Labyrinth of Love into the ring and visions of romance are destined to follow.

Maybe because there was a degree of distance – not just the Atlantic, but in concept and interpretation – between composer Michael Daugherty and choreographer Marguerite Donlon, this new commission has a sense of twisting conflicts, tensions of the heart and mind that surface in intensely expressive, eye-pleasing movement.
