CBS is turning to British actor James Corden to be the host of the late-night talk show The Late Late Show.

The network announced that Corden will take over from current host Craig Ferguson sometime next year.

CBS did not say where the show will be based or when exactly it will start.

Corden is a Tony Award-winning actor for his role in the play One Man, Two Guvnors and featured in the film Begin Again with Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo.

Ferguson announced he is leaving at the end of this year. Next year CBS will have an all-new late night line-up with Stephen Colbert replacing the retiring David Letterman.
