He heartily agrees. The artist, sculptor, sometime operatic librettist and photographer, is only just into his 40s. He, in fact, had to convince the Hayward Gallery, in the Southbank Centre, London, to present Brain Activity, the extensive show opening next Wednesday, as a "survey".
